Porky’s is a family run butchers supplying meat to the catering trade and also retail. Our aim is to bring you excellent quality meats at affordable prices. Our factory is based in Cookstown Ind Est, Tallaght along with a shop open to the public 6 days per week

Porky’s is a fully HACCP compliant company with FSAI Plant Approval.. (IE2979) from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine

We are licensed to butcher beef, pork, bacon, lamb, poultry & game.  This allows us to give our customers a huge range of fresh and frozen; products and also we can give a more personal service whereby we can produce products to individual specifications..

Our vans are on the road from 6am Monday-Saturday giving our customers early & fresh deliveries so that they have a great start to their day. As we are a family business we never let our customers down as there is always someone on hand to help out. Our prices are always very competitive as is our quality.

With over 45 years of experience in the meat trade our managing director John Mills has had some of the best training possible serving his apprenticeship in FX Buckley slaughtering, breaking, boning and cutting beef, pork & lamb.  He then learned the production of cooking hams etc before moving onto master the art of pudding and sausage making….All the while gaining knowledge of how the final product should look & taste and what the customer expects to get.

Oonagh Doyle also Managing Director has worked in the butchers industry for over 19 years but she excels due her knowledge of working in the hotel & catering.  She has worked with both chefs and customers giving her an invaluable insight into the quality chefs expect so they can produce meals that  their customers will love.

Having both a male and female at the helm with strong personalities and a passion for perfection we can achieve our goal which is to give our customers the best quality and service possible.
